Now, I only ask this because, honestly, those “Above the Influence” commercials really make me irate, being full of such bull shit that its almost hilarious. And to be honest? As I have stated before, getting high IS above the influence, you’ll get it if you truly think about it.

Marijuana has been around for god knows how long. It has been used for everything, from material such as cloth, medicine, and of course, the recreational use.

Now, I am all for going ahead and legalizing it, by all mean, if the first step to legalizing it is to maek people see the medical value from it, well, I guess thats how its going to be.

But lets not forget, 8/10 times your going to be smoking for a recreational use, which is fine if that’s your thing,  And honestly, what is so wrong with that? Cigarettes kill you, Alcohol kills you, but does marijuana? I dont think so, so why keep it illegal?

“You” never get a job, you’ll be working high all the time.” Not true, if you can’t go to work drunk, you can’t go to work high. Just because it would be legal does not mean a company can make sure you come under the influence.

“Its just stupid.” Well, that’s your opinion, you were given that brain to think what you want. But then again, don’t we see as that opinion as stupid to sometimes?

“You kill brain cell’s.” So does getting hit on the head.

Now, a huge controversy would be the gateway drug theory. Now remember people, its called a THEORY for a reason. I can’t say much on this fact, for the sole being that its not the drug that is affecting the people to go on to other things, its the person themselves.

Now, lets go back to what its for. Well, depends on what you would use it for; Food, Paper products, textiles,  Molded Plastics, Body products, Construction, Livestock feed, Livestock bedding, Nutritional supplements,  essential oils, medicines. All that jazz.

But recreational use is more than likely going to conquer that all. But why is that so bad, honestly? You have a choice whether or not to do it, and that follows your opinion, as I state again.

For a recreational use, I guess if we follow the same laws as alcohol, no public intoxication, its really not going to do much harm. Stay at home, smoke with a friend, enjoy your music, tv, what ever you enjoy. Just be, like alohol, responsible with it, and you dont have a fucking deal with it.

Now, of course, this is all just my opinion, whether you agree with me or not, but the fact of the matter is, parents are not as aware of this as they think their kids may be smoking. I don’t think parents really know how easy it is to get a hold of prescription drugs. Its a hell a lot easier than pot. I mean, christ, all they got to do is open the cabinet in their parents bathroom and theres a bottle of pills right there. Yea, and you blame the economy.

In all the fact of the matter, this is a short post, I admit, but its a huge weight off my mind for right now, and if I find mroe to write about on the subject I will, of course, make another post on it.

Marijuana is something that is highly mis-understood, and is highly used. Now, I would love to talk about, on this very special day, one of the greatest powers of that little green bud. The power to bring people together. I, personally, smoked with a lot of people, and a lot of those people these days are still great friends, some dropped due to their behavior or a loss of touch, but this thing is certain with me; I would just meet more people. Regardless.

I was talking to my friend, to stay anonymous, Tank, the other night while walking down the street, how marijuana does bring people together. We talked about all the different times we had on it, the laughs, the people, the sex on it. When your high, and your hanging and smoking with people you know, you really get to udnerstand them. The experience in itself is a little hard to explain, but when you talk to someone and truly listen to what they are saying, you know who they are. You get into their personality, and when you get into their personality, you truly decide whether that person is a friend or not. Some people are for you, some people just click like that, some people you just hang with every now and then, but then their are those you can see right through, and you know if they just are not someone you would click with.

Come to think of this, why don’t we use this for group therapies? It would benefit a lot. We could get into, I mean, REALLY into the conversation, and understand each other so much better. We would understand the problem, not as a square, but as a cube. We would get every angle of anything about it.  Hm, what a great subject I could blog on.

It is very rare for me to not click with someone when I smoke, but of course, not everyone I meet was I high when I met. A lot of good friends came from sobriety, and I have kept them for a long time, and I plan to keep it that way.

Now personally, I can not stand smoking by myself. I have only did it once, and I regret that. Smoking by yourself is ok if that’s your thing, I guess, but when you smoke with at least another person, if not more, you can do so much, thers so much to talk about, to experience, to understand, to joke. Pretty much, there’s not a lot you can do.

Well, I have gone off on a little blog for 420, Ill try and write more during some classes. But to all, I wish a Happy 420, and what ever your doing, hope its safe.

Complete and utter bull shit, huh? I apologize if that offends anyone, well, maybe not the ONDCP, but I just can”t help but laugh so hard that I cry every time I see this horrible piece of garbage. Seriously, I loose my own decision making from smoking pot? other people have to decide for me? What is with the people who advertise these? Its as if, no, it IS the fact that every lie that is out there about marijuana is commercialized to the public, and all the facts and truths about it are under the media, people have to reseacrh it themselves, and if it gets so bad, like it did back when Anslinger was in charge of the FBN, we have to destroy the real evidence of it.

I can understand that maybe this commercial is employing that peer pressure may cause you to try marijuana. That can be true for some people, not everyone takes it well, but for some, it just doesn’t work. Its quit ridiculous. Even if you are “pressured” into smoking marijuana, who is to say you don’t have the decision to stop hanging out with the friends who try and pressure you to do it, or just don’t do it what so ever? Peer pressure is probably the biggest debate on marijuana in many cases, seeing as how there are so many different views, opinions, and angles that need to be covered on the subject, and I have an open mind, and I am willing to discuss views or anything like that with anyone. Who knows, maybe I would change my mind on something, or show someone a new view. By all means, talk to me about it.

But other than that, I really would like to see this government or at least the people who work for it at least stop putting out such horrible trash to the public. I mean, theres nothing wrong with trying to keep youth from doing drugs, or anything like that, thats all fine and dandy, that may be how you want to show your kids to stay off it, but we all have to come and realize that our kids are not objects of which we control their minds. We may guide them, as is what we do as we raise them, but there comes a time when they grow their own brain and decide for themselves. Some may say no to drugs, some may say yes for medical use, and some may say yes for pleasure. Everyone has their own brain, and it needs to be known that lying to the brain is not healthy. The people who put such filth as this out there truley need to put straight hardcore facts out there.

I miss the days of old, trying to dodge parents while THC was in me, laughing and doing nothing but with friends, hanging out all the time. They were the best of times. Then the worst of times came.  Everyone changed in some way. It was horrible. I truly feel the heartache of every moment to this day, wishing everything could be rewound and redone so we all could be better. Yet that wont happen. Today is today, and now is now.

The meaning of this blog is to gather knowledge, to write theories, to get my word out there of being a psychonaut. Even if I write something that may be inaccurate, that’s fine, that’s why I want people to converse with me, share ideas and knowledge, get a better understanding out there. I want to give it my all down this path.

As this is being the first blog post, its not the most important, but it is the most ground breaking. And witht he ground breaking I want this to be known.

This whole thing is dedicated to my brothers, my memories, my future, and my goals.
